We started our first blog, The Theocrats, after noticing that the “blog thing” was starting to look popular. We wanted to get in early and see what all of the type was about. So, we did. Adam wrote our first post on June 4, 2004. Theocrats was our attempt at writing about the Christian life and what having King God was really all about. It was a good first attempt at blogging, but it didn’t work out quite the way we’d hoped.

So, we started a new blog here at Minor Thoughts. We’ll observe the world around us, ask questions, and look for answers. We don’t have all of the answers, even though we sometimes act like we do. We’ll do our best to find them and, along the way, we’ll tell you our biases and do our best to keep open minds.

WEB STANDARDS

Web standards are important, and this site adheres to them. Specifically, Minor Thought’s HTML markup should validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict, its layout is constructed using valid CSS, and its syndicated feed is valid Atom.

If Minor Thoughts looks goofy in your browser, you’re likely using a browser that doesn’t support web standards. Internet Explorer, I’m looking in your direction. If you complain about this, I will ignore you, because I do not care. If, however, you are using a modern, standards-compliant browser and have trouble viewing or reading Minor Thoughts, please do let me know.
